For the past year I worked as Head of Design for a small startup called Sktchy, an experience for artists and art lovers. I took on that opportunity as a learning experience, and believe I came out of it as a more receptive designer with a much broader perspective on both my work and personal life. Working remotely as a team of four, I spent several months as a digital nomad, traveling from Hawaii to India and in between. It’s in the moments of unknown that I grow the most, and that I did.
Prior to that, I was a Design Director at Uncorked Studios in Portland, and a designer at a few design consultancies in New York City. In my 13+ years of professional experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work along side startups, nonprofits and businesses from small to corporate, creating for clients such as Google, Adidas, Sony, American Express, Comcast and Barnes & Noble, to name a few.
Currently I am freelancing, working directly with multiple clients across various UX and visual design processes. I’m always interested in collaborating with people who are passionate about what they do. Drop a line if you feel the same.
